Man dies after being found shot on light rail platform in St. Paul

A man died after being found with multiple gunshot wounds on a light rail platform in St. Paul.

Metro Transit and St. Paul police received a call of shots fired around 11 p.m. at the eastbound Green Line Dale Street Station.

"Police located an adult male on the platform with multiple gunshot wounds who was transported to Regions where they were pronounced dead," Metro Transit PD said.

No arrests have been made, with investigators searching for suspects.

Buses replaced trains while the scene was cleared, with light rail service fully restored Saturday morning.
