Man reported missing in Sacramento found dead, police say

(FOX40.COM) — A man who had been reported missing in mid-March in Sacramento has been found dead , according to Sacramento Police.

The agency said that Taylor Cain, 37, was found dead on Monday evening, just over a week after he had been reported missing.

Cain was found with his vehicle, a Ram pickup, in the 2000 block of River Plaza Way, according to police.

The location of where Cain’s body was found is about eight miles from where he was reported missing in the 1700 block of Roanoke Avenue.

Police did not mention any details of the circumstances in which they found Cain or a possible cause of death.

In the week before, police had released a missing person flyer, stating that Cain was last seen on March 17 in the East Del Paso Heights neighborhood of Sacramento driving a Dodge Ram pickup.

“Our hearts go out to the family,” police said in a statement.
