Woman shot and killed at Anaheim apartment complex
A woman in her 60's was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Anaheim Thursday. The shooting happened around 3:40 p.m. at State College Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Jon McClintock. He said the woman was taken to the hospital where she died. After officers searched the complex for an hour they discovered a male suspect in the apartment who had died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound around 9:30 p.m., McClintock added. It is believed the man and victim knew each other in some way. No suspect or victim information has been released at this time.
