Tigers have a taste of what the Section 5-2A meet will look like later this spring The Princeton boys and girls track and field teams had a preview of what to expect in the Section 5-2A tournament later this spring, as the Tigers competed in the Section 5-2A true team tournament on Tuesday, May 7, at Rocori High School. The Princeton boys finished in sixth place out of 13 teams with 488 points, while the girls team finished in 12th place out of 13 teams...
Softball Recap: Sauk Rapids-Rice snaps four-game streak of wins at home
It was a good run, but Sauk Rapids-Rice unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 7-1 to the Moorhead Spuds. Ava Knutson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 14 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
RCTC Baseball set for District Tournament on Thursday
(ABC 6 News) — RCTC Softball punched its ticket to the nationals, now the baseball team looks to do the same this weekend in St. Cloud. The Yellowjackets are in the North Plains District Tournament after going 2-1 last week in the Region XIII Tourney, defeating Riverland last Sunday 15-5 to qualify.
