The following individuals have been booked into the Sherburne County Jail for the alleged offense(s): - Nathan Allen Hatfield, 36 of Princeton, MN 55371 for GM Interfere with Emergency Telephone Call. - Jenny Ann Kinsell, 39 of Zimmerman, MN 55398 for GM DWI Test Refusal and MSD 4th Degree DWI. - Curk Timothy McGraw, 39 of Foreston, MN 56330 for a Sherburne County warrant. - On November 8 th , Matthew Kimball on Lake Diann Road in Baldwin Township reported the theft of a 2007 Hyundai sedan, blue in color. Value of the vehicle is unknown at the time of the report.

Princeton student semi-finalist for National Merit Scholarships
Princeton High School student Graham Anderson was recently recognized by the Princeton School Board for becoming a semifinalist competing for National Merit Scholarships. Anderson was announced as a semifinalist in October and was presented with a certificate during the school board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Fairview plans to end partnership with University of Minnesota
Fairview Health Services notified the University of Minnesota on Monday, Nov. 20, that it does not plan to extend the current partnership between the two entities. Since 2018, the two organizations have partnered to become M Health Fairview throughout hospitals and clinics in Minnesota including Princeton’s M Health Fairview Northland Medical Center. Princeton Schools refinance debt to save taxpayers’ money
Princeton Public Schools recently took advantage of an opportunity to refinance a portion of the district’s outstanding debt and generate more than a half-million dollars in savings for taxpayers. On Nov. 9 the school district closed on the issuance of $12.51 million in refunding bonds to refinance debt originally issued in 2014. By refinancing and paying off some of the principal early, the district will save an estimated $512,684 in interest payments over the remaining life of the bonds. ...

Princeton Coborns making space for new Erbert and Gerbert’s
The Princeton Coborn’s recently began construction to convert space for an Erbert and Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop located in the old video store. Construction includes a drive-through space for the restaurant. Coborn’s held a hiring event on Tuesday, Nov. 28 to hire for the new positions in the restaurant. Suspect vehicle identified in deadly hit-and-run crash
The Minnesota State Patrol and the Mille Lacs County Sheriff’s Department have released a photograph of what they suspect might be the vehicle that hit and killed Dr. Cathy Donovan on Nov. 13. “Our investigators want to speak to the driver of this vehicle, which they believe was in the area of the fatal hit-and-run crash just before 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 13 on Hwy. 169 south of Grand Casino Mille Lacs,” the State Patrol posted on its Facebook page. ...
Milaca woman killed in Livonia Township crash
A Milaca woman was killed in a two vehicle crash in Livonia Township on Wednesday, Nov. 29. At approximately 7:20 a.m., Kimberly Woods, age 41 of Milaca, was traveling southbound on Highway 169 near mile marker 166 in a 2005 Ford Ranger. At the same time, Chad Toenyan, age 47 of Big Lake, was traveling northbound on Highway 169 in a 2021 Mack Straight Truck, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. ...

A Columbia Heights man was injured in a rollover accident in Milo Township on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
