TESTIFY: A Virtual Conversation

Join people from across the state of Minnesota virtually on Tuesday, April 30 at 7 pm for an evening of conversation with Justice Alan Page and his daughter, Georgi Page-Smith to discuss the TESTIFY: Americana from Slavery to Today Exhibit.

Photographs of selections from the family’s extraordinary collection are currently touring ECRL’s library branches. Please visit our events calendar at ecrlib.org or talk to staff for more information about when it will be visiting your library branch.

“Before reconciliation, there must be truth – and the truth can be ugly,” said Justice Page of the exhibit. “But we cannot reconcile and move forward if an increasingly louder group of people continue to deflect, minimize and sweep history under the rug.”

To register for this virtual event via Zoom please visit https://bit.ly/TESTIFYconversation or visit our Events Calendar at ecrlib.org for more info.

This program is made possible through the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Registration is required, as space is limited. Register on ECRL’s Events Calendar at ecrlib.org or by calling the library. Please make sure to register each person in your group individually. Walk-ins will be welcome as space allows.
