Dense fog could snarl morning traffic
Drivers in the Wausau area should expect low visibility and use headlights on the morning commute, with locally dense fog to start the morning. As of 4 a.m. fog had become dense over parts of central and northeast Wisconsin, reducing visibility as low as a quarter mile, according to the National Weather Service. Wausau School District budget deficit could soar higher
Declining enrollment, state revenue limits and other challenges could push the Wausau School District’s multi-million dollar deficit even further, officials acknowledge.
