Lafayette school projects could get $22 million under board plan
The Lafayette Parish School Board will consider reallocating about $22 million for more than a dozen district projects Thursday, along with a financing proposal to move construction of the new Ovey Comeaux Workforce Innovation Academy forward. The measures, scheduled for consideration at the board’s regular meeting, would support campus investments across Lafayette Parish and advance a workforce training facility intended to expand students’ access to hands-on career preparation.
