We begin the morning with areas of dense fog and mist. Visibility is dropping below a quarter of a mile at times across the Valley. It can change quickly so use caution when traveling. A warm front is still lifting slowly through the area. Once the winds pick up out of the southwest, clouds begin to peel back late morning mixing with more sunshine. Partly sunny skies combined with a warm breeze, help temperatures spike to the low 80s today. Some areas west and southwest are likely to climb into the mid-80s. With the front nearby to our north, some lift in the atmosphere, an isolated thundershower or two can’t be ruled out late in the day, but most areas stay rain free. As ridge of high pressure slides east, we see more sunshine and less cloud cover Monday. Bright skies and westerly breeze boosts temperatures to the middle and upper 80s. A stray shower or thundershower is still possible but very low.
