WJ town employee receives Al Deratt Award
WEST JEFFERSON — Brandon Patrick, the Operator Responsible in Charge (ORC) for the town of West Jefferson was awarded the Al Deratt award at the 47th annual NC Rural Water Association Conference in Benton on Wednesday. Keith Buff, Technical Assistance Assistant Manager, nominated Patrick for the award. "Brandon is a great employee that ensures the wastewater plant is operating correctly to put clean water back into Little Buffalo Creek and is deserving of this award," said West Jefferson Town Manager Brantley Price.
