Man charged after firing shots outside apartment building in High Point
HIGH POINT, N.C. — A man is facing multiple charges after firing shots outside of an apartment building in High Point, police said. Officers responded to the area of East Green Drive on Monday around noon where they found Rodney Moore, Jr., 58, who was armed. Moore followed commands, dropped the gun, and lay down on the ground.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A High Point man is charged with human trafficking and rape involving a juvenile who was reported missing in February 2024. High Point police said they received a call from a missing juvenile on Feb. 1, who said she met the man online and ran away from her home to meet him. The victim told police he also bought her a bus ticket. The juvenile was reported missing from another state, according to police.
