The Princeton Community Education office recently announced that they are receiving a Junior Twins Equipment Kit from the Minnesota Twins Community Fund. This new equipment donation will help Princeton Community Education keep registration costs low and make the game accessible for youth participants. Junior Twins equipment will be used by by our Tee Ball teams as well as our Sandlot program. These teams range in age from 2 to 12 this upcoming season.

“We are excited for this new partnership with the Minnesota Twins and are very thankful for their continued community support,” says Brian Julson, CE Director.

The Twins Community Fund’s Junior Twins Equipment Kit Program provides new equipment kits to youth baseball and softball organizations in the Upper Midwest and Southwest Florida. Fulfilled by nonprofit partner Pitch In for Baseball & Softball, Junior Twins Equipment Kits for both baseball and softball provide new, age-appropriate equipment including gloves, balls, bats, helmets, and catcher’s sets. The Twins Community Fund and its grant programs are supported in part by its cornerstone partners: Target, US Bank, Treasure Island, Nike, and fans across Twins Territory. The Junior Twins Equipment Kit Program is granting nearly $100,000 worth of equipment kits to 20 youth baseball and softball organizations across Twins Territory this spring.

“The Twins Community Fund is committed to making sure kids across Twins Territory have the support, equipment, and safe places to play the games they love. We’re proud to provide grants that help communities empower young people and foster belonging through these games,” said Kristin Rortvedt, Executive Director of the Twins Community Fund.
