Trial By Jury Held Sept. 23rd in Washington
One of Historic Washington State Park’s most popular ongoing programs, “Trial By Jury” was held Saturday (9-23) in the 1836 Courthouse. The dramatic presentation is based upon an actual 19th century trial held in Washington and staged in the actual courtroom in which the original trial took place. Various HWSP employees and local residents play the parts and the audience gets to decide the “fate” of the “defendant” before finding out the actual outcome of the original trial.
