Foodees Fest Food & Culture Festival returns to Augusta this weekend with plenty of food trucks, entertainment, and shopping. Dozens of food vendors and many crafters and artists will be on hand for the three-day event that opens Friday on Fifth Street in downtown Augusta. More: Jerk House brings Jamaican favorites to Washington Road | Exclusive Billed as a traveling food festival, Foodees Fest combines a wide variety of food vendors, artisans and crafters in a community-focused event. The festival aims to create opportunities for attendees to sample new foods, explore unique products and support participating businesses and makers, according to the event's website. It is a traveling festival that visits many cities in the East, bringing together many cultures through food and food products, according to its website, www.foodeesfest.com . 2027 Masters Tournament to hold public information session in Augusta

With 2027 right around the corner, the Masters Tournament will be hosting an information session next week. The session is open to the public and attendees will be able to speak with Masters representatives to learn more about available opportunities within Hospitality, Concessions and Merchandise for the 2027 tournament. The event takes place Thursday, Nov. 12 at the HUB for Community Innovation (631 Chafee Ave, Augusta, Ga. 30904) from 3-6 p.m. Applications to work at the tournament are available at the Masters website and will be accepted through Dec. 1, 2026. The 2027 Augusta National Women's Amateur begins March 31 at Champions Retreat with the first two rounds. The final round takes place Saturday, April 3, at Augusta National Golf Club and is followed by the Drive, Chip & Putt National Finals on Sunday . The first Masters practice round is Monday, April 5 and the tournament begins Thursday, April 8 and goes through Sunday, April 11.
