Family says 3-year-old kidnapping victim is a ‘little warrior’
BELTON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The family of a young boy whose father set a truck on fire while the boy was still inside, is calling the 3-year-old a “little warrior.”. Bennett, 3, is currently at the Augusta Burn Center receiving care for 3rd degree burns that cover 90% of his body, according to a GoFundMe page set up on behalf of his family.

Friday night update: It’s going to be a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend! It will be comfortable to be outside with lower dew points and high temperatures near 80 degrees. If you are heading out late, you might want to pack a light jacket due to the crisp lows in the lower 50s. If you believed the storms were over, think again! Next week looks to bring a very wet pattern, with showers and storms nearly every day. It is too early to tell if there will be severe weather. We will continue to monitor trends and keep you posted. The high temperatures will range from the upper 70s to the mid-80s.
Motorcycle riders fill streets in honor of Jonathon Williams

The Guardians for Hope hosted the remembrance in honor of Jonathan Williams. Authorities say Williams died last month after crashing into a train on Reynolds street in Augusta.

One More Round of Storms Friday Morning
The threat of severe weather for today is OVER! We had numerous severe thunderstorm warnings over nearly a 12 hour period. There has been confirmed wind damage with trees down in Saluda, McCormick, Columbia, Edgefield, and Bamberg counites. There is no confirmed hail, and we did not have any tornadoes. There was also minor flooding, but rainfall totals did not exceed 2 inches. Showers are over with for the northern and central portions of the CSRA, and it will become completely dry within the next couple of hours. Mostly cloudy tonight with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
