Carmel in brief — November 10, 2026
Recycle campaign signs – Carmel Utilities is partnering with the Hamilton County Household Hazardous Waste Center and Recycle Force to recycle campaign signs from the 2026 election season. This recycling initiative prevents an abundance of yard signs going to a local landfill, as they cannot be recycled in regular curbside pickup. Through Nov. 21, Carmel residents are encouraged to bring their campaign signs and metal stands to the Carmel Household Hazardous Waste Site at 901 N. Range Line Rd. Signs may be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays. It will be closed on Veterans Day.
