The other vehicle involved in the crash stayed at the scene, according to police.

Police say impairment is believed to be a factor in the crash.

Charges against the other driver are pending. He has not yet been identified, but police say he is a 53-year-old man.

Police believe the driver of the vehicle was attempting to turn left onto Indian School Road, and he failed to yield for Azim.

Azim hit the vehicle on the driver's side as he was heading westbound on Indian School Road.

    The crash remains under investigation.
