Suspicious package at Nittany Lion Shrine causes road closure
University Police received reports of a “suspicious package” at the Nittany Lion Shrine on Friday, according to an email sent by a spokesperson for University Police. Police investigated the threat, and for a short time, Curtin Road at Atherton Street and Burrowes Road were closed until approximately 9:30 p.m. when the package was deemed safe.
