Philadelphia Eagles third-round pick out of Houston Christian University, Jalyx Hunt, is getting a lot of love from fans after his draft call went viral.

Hunt took Eagles general manager Howie Roseman by surprise when he answered the phone with, "What's up, Big Pimpin?"

Rosman was left sort of speechless and responded with a laugh before saying, "We're going to pick you right here, brother."

The Eagles traded back two times before they selected Hunt with the 94th overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Many fans didn't know exactly who Hunt was before the draft, but they should by now.

The 6-foot-4 and 252-pound edge defender put his name on the map, not only by giving Roseman a new nickname, but also with an impressive NFL Combine performance ahead of the draft where he logged a 4.64 40-yard dash, 37.5-inch vertical jump, and a 10’ 8’’ broad jump.

In his two seasons at Houston Christian, Hunt registered 110 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

The Eagles currently have a crowded edge room with Bryce Huff, Josh Sweat, Nolan Smith, Brandon Graham, and Zack Baun on the roster, though Hunt's raw athleticism and eagerness to learn may just earn him a spot on the 53-man roster.

"Aye coach, I need the playbook ASAP," Hunt said before getting off the phone.
