It’s been a long time coming, but the Jane and David Ott Center for Track and Field is finally here. Originally announced in October 2019, after some delays, the Ott Center is set to open at the end of this summer in August. The $69.35 million state-of-the-art indoor track and field facility has been progressing on schedule since last March.

The Shore Conference has the makings of a historic showing at the Penn Relays. Rumson-Fair Haven, Christian Brothers and Toms River North are bringing loaded quartets primed to compete for hardware at the marquee track & field meet, which takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
11 Chargers to Compete in 2024 Penn Relays
SPOTSWOOD, NJ - The highlights keep coming for the Spotswood High School varsity track and field teams. Eleven Chargers have qualified and will be participating in the upcoming Penn Relays on Thursday, April 25 through Saturday, April 27 at Franklin Park in Philadelphia. Spotswood's Kayla Louis, Theodora Xipolias, Janiyre Amegor, Teagan Jones, Cooper Ciak, Tristian Obriski, Nicholas Creighton, Kieran Barlow, Tyler Andre, Ghanashyma Craig and Christopher Velex will all be competing in the three-day event. The Penn Relays is the oldest and biggest track and field competition in the US. It's held every April and is hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. The competition features high school, collegiate, professional, and master relay competitions. On Friday morning, Ciak, Obriski, Creighton and Barlow are running in the 4x100 boys high school relay heat. Then on Saturday, Andre, Craig, Velez and Ciak will run in the 4x400 relay heat.
