James Harden returned to the Wells Fargo Center on Wednesday night for the first time since being traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in October.

The guard played for the Philadelphia 76ers for 79 games over one and a half seasons before moving to Los Angeles. His short time with the 76ers didn’t end on good terms, though, as Harden requested a trade and then went on to call 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey a “liar.”

76ers fans didn’t hold back expressing their thoughts about Harden’s return. As Harden was announced as a Clippers starter before the game, fans at Wells Fargo Center erupted into loud boos that echoed throughout the arena. The fans clearly weren’t pleased with having him back.

The Clippers and 76ers also played each other Sunday in Los Angeles, with Philadelphia winning 121–107. The 76ers are looking to capture another win at home on Wednesday.
