This is getting good. The high school postseason continues to heat up as the stakes become higher in northwest Wisconsin. Area football teams are off to an excellent start. The Cloverbelt Conference led the way, going 5-0 in Level 1 play this past Friday night. Mondovi, Eau Claire Regis and Fall Creek prevailed in Division 6. The Ramblers earned a close win over the Crickets during their regular season meeting. The Regis-Fall Creek winner will likely play at No. 1 seed Mondovi in a Level 3 game. The Buffaloes have their own Level 2 game to take care of first on Friday at home. Area soccer and volleyball teams continue their postseason this week with huge matches set to be contested with state berths on the line.
