West Grand athlete breaks 53-year-old school record in hurdles
West Grand High School junior Joe Probst competed at the Western Slope Leagues meet championships on May 4. In the 110-meter hurdles, he beat his own personal record — and a school record held since 1971. Probst’s time was 14.68, beating the 53-year-old record of 14.8, held by Gary O’Hotto.

A dead gray wolf found in Larimer County last month was most likely killed by a mountain lion, according to information from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service. "The initial necropsy report conducted by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on the deceased gray wolf found in Larimer County on April 18, 2024 finds that the cause of death is trauma, consistent with predation. Kremmling residents can apply for board of trustees position
The town of Kremmling welcomes residents to apply for a newly opened trustee seat on the town council. Letters of interest must be emailed to the town clerk Teagan Serres at townclerk@townofkremmling.org by the deadline of May 15. The letter will be presented to the board of trustees for consideration. Depending on the level of interest, the board may extend the deadline to June 3. The appointment process will take place during a special meeting on June 4.
