LuLeta Behrman Maslak passed away on October 16, 2023 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado from pneumonia. Lu was born on November 12, 1946 in Los Angeles, California to William Behrman and Ella Lucille Behrman. She lived most of her youth in Northern California until the mountains called her. Lu was one of the top practicing ultrasound technicians and was the teacher to top Radiologists and Internal medicine physicians in the United States and Internationally. Her skill and expertise were instrumental to the success of the most important ultrasound companies in the United States. Her occupation is where she met her husband Samuel H. Maslak whom she wed in 1987. Together they fell in love with Vail in December 1988, becoming homeowners in the valley in 1995 and Colorado residents in 2007.
