Woman fatally stabbed in Palmdale

A woman was stabbed to death in Palmdale, authorities said Wednesday.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies were called at 8:13 p.m. Tuesday to the 38000 block of 20th Street East where they found the victim, said homicide Lt. Michael Gomez.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information about this stabbing was asked to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Anonymous calls can be made to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or sent to lacrimestoppers.org.
