Authorities search for missing man last seen in Palmdale

PALMDALE (CNS) - Authorities sought the public's assistance Saturday in locating a 30-year-old man last seen in Palmdale.

Richard Torres was last contacted by family at about 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies described Torres as a 5-feet-6-inch tall Latino man weighing 135 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache.

He was last seen wearing a black sweater and black cargo pants.

Anyone with information regarding Torres' whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Missing Person Detail at 323-890-5500. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
