Stages of the Range presents Noel Coward's 'Private Lives'
The Stages of the Range theater company is back in action this fall with a historic and exciting comedy of manners: Noel Coward’s “Private Lives.” Performances are at 7 p.m. November 7, 12, 13, and 14. There is a matinee on November 15 at 2:30. All performances are at the Gilbert City Auditorium, located at 17 Broadway in Gilbert. Set in the late Jazz Era, “Private Lives,” directed by Mary Lou Conaway, explores the thin line between love and hate with situational comedy that is so audacious, it borders on the theater of the absurd. Newlyweds Sibyl (Cassie Liubakka) and Elyot Chase (James Conger) arrive at a quaint hotel in France. Worlds collide, however, when Elyot’s former wife Amanda (Chelsea Trucano) and her new husband Victor Prynne (Ethan Allen) honeymoon in the room next door. Elyot and Amanda’s unresolved relationship sets the stage for the drama and comedy that unfolds. The cast is rounded out with Tavia Melhus playing Louise, the French maid. “Private Lives” has remained relevant in the theatrical sphere because of Coward’s sharp writing and the timeless themes the play explores. It has enjoyed an eye-popping array of actors gracing the stage in the principal roles, including

Gingerbread Houses Wrapped In Twinkle Lights Fill A Glensheen Mansion Tour In Duluth This Holiday Season
Gingerbread houses glowing under twinkle lights, set inside a 39-room mansion on the shore of Lake Superior. That combination alone made me sit up straight. The house dates to 1908, and its original furnishings are still in place. So those sugary little villages share space with carved woodwork, stained glass, and rooms that look ready for company.

People Travel From Every Corner Of Minnesota Just To Eat At This Hole-In-The-Wall Restaurant
There’s a little burger joint in Cloquet, Minnesota that has people driving past perfectly good restaurants just to get there. Gordy’s Hi-Hat isn’t fancy, it isn’t trendy, and it definitely doesn’t have a celebrity chef hovering over a wood-fired oven with tweezers. What it does...
