Red Sox legend David Ortiz hosts golf tournament, casino night fundraiser for his nonprofit
NEWTON, Mass. — Boston Red Sox icon David Ortiz hosted his annual Boston Hearts Classic golf tournament Monday to raise money for his charity. The tournament at Brae Burn Country Club in Newton was followed by a casino night fundraiser for the David Ortiz Children's Fund, which supports kids in the Dominican Republic and in New England who cannot afford the critical cardiac services they need.
