Crash in Laurel leaves motorcyclist dead
LAUREL, Md. — A motorcyclist has died after an early Monday morning crash in Laurel. Troopers with the Maryland State Police responded just before 3:10 a.m. to Interstate 95 northbound at Maryland Route 98 after a report of a crash in the local lanes. Upon arrival, they found the driver of an unregistered Suzuki Motorcycle struck the rear-end of a Honda Civic.

1 teenager dead amid a string of overnight shootings across DC
WASHINGTON (7News) — A string of overnight shootings across the District left one teenager dead, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. The first shooting police responded to was in the 1700 block of Gales Street, Northeast around 10:40 p.m. Saturday. Police said they found a boy, later identified as 15-year-old Victor Bolden, suffering from a gunshot wound. Bolden was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
