One dead in town of Albion crash

TOWN OF ALBION, Wis. -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office has confirmed to News 3 Now a person died in motor vehicle accident in the town of Albion. DCSO say the deceased was a 39 year-old passenger of one of two vehicles involved.

Video and photos from the scene shows first responders arriving from both Dane and Rock counties. It happened near or at the intersection of WI Hwy 73 and Edgerton Rd/ WI 106, east of Interstate 90.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the incident happened at 10:27 pm Friday closing down both lanes of Hwy 73 between WI 106 and Craig Rd until 3:22 am Saturday.

The sheriff's office is referring to the Dane County Medical Examiner's office.
