The Henry County Sheriff’s Office says this is the second time over the last three weeks, that the Henry County Sheriff’s Office has served a warrant that is allegedly connected to the illegal selling and possession of drugs by Freman.

According to the authorities, on April 30 , deputies served warrants on Valentine Court, Preston Scales Drive, and Ziglar Road allegedly in reference to Freeman. Their investigation revealed that these operations were allegedly his drug enterprise.

Freeman was arrested and charged. However, the Sheriff’s Office says he obtained a bond from the courts and allegedly started selling drugs again.

The combined suspected fentanyl from the searches on May 16 and April 30 weighed about 3.37 lbs. Deputies say if the suspected fentanyl were pure, it would be enough to kill approximately 765,000 people. This is enough to kill the Henry County population more than 15 times.

“This seizure has again put a dent in the drug trade in our communities, and as stated
previously, The Henry County Sheriff’s Office will not tolerate these actions in our county,” said the Sheriff’s Office in a post.

This case remains under investigation. Anyone with information on drug trafficking in the community is encouraged to call the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751 or
