UPDATE: Truck rolls over, kills man working underneath in Callahan County

CALLAHAN COUNTY, Texas ( KTAB/KRBC ) – A death investigation is currently underway after a truck rolled over and killed a man who was working underneath it in Callahan County.

The incident happened in a lot off FM 18 near CR 527 around 2:00 p.m. Friday.

The Callahan County Sheriff’s Office says the man was underneath the truck trying to start the alternator with a screwdriver when the truck reversed and rolled over him.

This victim, who has only been identified as a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives are still investigating this death and are now working to notify the victim’s next-of-kin.
