We were so close to cashing Jake Knapp at 100-1 to win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson last week, but we were able to cash his top-20 (+350) and top-40 (+125) props at juicy odds. The best players on the PGA Tour return this week for the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club, a signature event on the 2024 schedule.

Let's check out the two long shots we're targeting with outright and finishing position bets this week.

    Taylor Moore (+10000 FanDuel )

Taylor Moore is sneakily playing some great golf right now. The American recently finished T12 at the Valspar Championship, T2 at the Texas Children's Houston Open and T20 at The Masters in three straight starts. He's gained strokes from around the green in five straight events and off the tee in five of his last six.

In his Wells Fargo Championship debut last season, Moore finished T27 and finished the week ranked 14th in the field in strokes gained from off the tee. Hitting it long and straight is crucial at this 7,600-yard track, and Moore consistently gains distance on the field with his driver. This is a good week for him to contend in a Scottie Scheffler-less field.

    Top-20 finish: +240
    Top-30 finish: +115

    Seamus Power (+20000 FD)

Quail Hollow is one of the stickiest tracks on Tour in terms of course history predicting success, and Seamus Power has always played well here. In four starts at the Wells Fargo Championship, the 37-year-old has finished T27, T13, T54 and T18. He also gained strokes from putting in three of those four starts.

Power was rusty to start the season after returning from a hip injury, but he had his best week of the year two starts ago when he finished T12 at the RBC Heritage. The Irishman had his best iron week of the season in Hilton Head. Power has finished T26 or better in three straight starts in which he gained strokes on the green, and now he returns to a course where he always putts well.

An outright bet on Power may be a bit audacious, but we love the finishing position bets here.

    Top-20 finish: +360
    Top-30 finish: +180
