    Road in Frederick County to close for 2 weeks for repairs

    FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Crews will be shutting down a road in Frederick County for two weeks for repairs.

    The Frederick County, Maryland Government said Pear Lane will be closed for about two weeks starting around May 13.

    Crews will be working to replace a metal pipe culvert that deteriorated with a concrete box culvert. They will also resurface the pavement.

    Drivers will have to make a detour and use Opossumtown Pike and Ford Road.
