Jalen Brunson is having himself an all-time NBA playoffs run.

The New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers, 118-115, to move on to the second round.

Jalen Brunson, once again, had a 40+ point game. His final stat line was 41 points on 13 of 27 shooting, three rebounds, and 12 assists. For the series, he averaged 35.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, and 9.0 assists per game.

Brunson has done something in these NBA playoffs that no player has done since the great Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls in 1993. He became the first player since Jordan to score at least 37 points in four straight playoff games.

The statistic was posted by NBA writer Justin Russo on social media.

"Jalen Brunson has scored at least 37 points in four consecutive playoff games. First player to do that since Michael Jordan in 1993."

Brunson and the Knicks will face off against Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in round two.
