Dan Hurley is in for a well-deserved raise.

After rejecting the Lakers’ offer to become their next head coach Monday, Hurley is set to receive a six-year, $50 million deal at UConn, according to Mike Anthony of CT Insider.

The Lakers offered Hurley six years and $70 million.



While appearing on “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” on Thursday, Hurley said the “financial part in terms of salary has been done for a while” but mentioned that elements such as name, image and likeness (NIL) funding and staff salaries are still in progress.

An ex-con and math teacher at an elite Brooklyn private school who was once a contestant on “Jeopardy!” was arrested last week as part of an investigation into sexualized images being spread across social media, sources said.

Convicted thief Winston Nguyen — who served time in Rikers for stealing $300,000 from an elderly couple — was arrested at St. Ann’s School in Brooklyn Heights last Thursday in front of a crowd of students.

Nguyen wasn’t charged, but is being investigated by the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office, sources confirmed to The Post. 



He was released Saturday.

The homeowner in the Cleveland suburb of Eastlake was prepping chlorine inside a home for their backyard pool when the chemical reaction occurred, the Eastlake Fire Department said, News 5 Cleveland reported.

Millwall announced the death of Sarkic on Saturday. No further details were disclosed.

Sarkic played 33 times for Millwall, a club in London, after joining from Premier League team Wolverhampton in August last year.

He played in the youth academies of Anderlecht in Belgium then Aston Villa in England, spending five years at Villa before leaving in 2020 and joining Wolves. He had spells on loan at lower-league English teams like Birmingham and Stoke.
