PLAINFIELD, NJ — At Monday night's Plainfield City Council meeting, a controversial ordinance was pulled from the agenda before the council was able to vote on it on second reading. Passage of the ordinance on second reading would have changed bar closing time from 1am to 2am from Monday through Thursdays and from 2am to 4am on Saturdays.
