Arrests, sentencings, fire calls for April 18

Wright County Sheriff arrests:

• Zachary Donald Lindquist, 41, of Buffalo was arrested April 8 in Buffalo on charges of third-degree DWI and driving after license cancellation.

• Shane Marshall Rhode, 30, of Rogers was arrested April 9 in Buffalo on a Wright County warrant for third-degree DWI.

• Thomas Charles Boie, 58, of Otsego was arrested April 10 in Otsego on a charge of second-degree DWI.

• Evan Lee Knollenberg, 31, of Buffalo was arrested April 10 in Buffalo on a charge of driving after license cancellation.

• Shawn Micheal Provost, 45, of Buffalo was arrested April 11 in Buffalo on a charge of second-degree controlled substance.

• Justin Ole Doust, 48, of Little Falls was arrested April 13 in Monticello on a charge of third-degree DWI.

• Jessica Lynn Ross, 40, of Montrose was arrested April 14 in Monticello on a charge of fifth-degree controlled substance.

Wright County Sheriff by the numbers:

From April 8-15, there were 22 property damage accidents, five personal injury accidents, two hit-and-run accidents, four car-vs-deer accidents, 12 DWI arrests, eight school bus stop arm violations and 134 miscellaneous traffic violations reported.

• Fire, smoke, odor on Cedar Street at 3:49 p.m. April 8

• Medical call on Hart Boulevard at 12:07 a.m. April 9

• Motor vehicle accident on State Highway 25 and 3rd Street East at 3:32 p.m. April 10

• Commercial fire alarm on Fallon Avenue NE at 1:04 p.m. April 11

• Commercial fire alarm on Chelsea Road West at 10:10 p.m. April 12

• Grass fire on 3rd Street at 1:50 p.m. April 13

• Dumpster fire on Broadway Street West at 3:30 p.m. April 13

• Motor vehicle accident on Interstate 94 near mile marker 192 at 3:34 p.m. April 13

• Motor vehicle accident on Garrison Avenue NE at 7:04 p.m. April 13

• Carbon monoxide alarm on Summit Pointe Road at 2:54 a.m. April 14

• Marine incident on Locke Lake at 1:30 p.m. April 14

• Two duty officer calls this week

Wright County Attorney’s Office court sentences:

• Peter Andrew Larson, 54, of Monticello was sentenced on April 8 to 90 days jail, 77 days stayed on one-year probation, must serve 13 days, and fined $50 for domestic abuse – violating order for protection.

• Lino Sanchez Rubio, 30, of Monticello was sentenced on April 8 to 364 days jail, 363 days stayed on two-years’ probation, must serve one day, 30 days house arrest with electronic alcohol home monitoring, and fined $50 for liquor purchase/sell/barter/furnish/give to someone under 21.

• Derek John Farnick, 36, of Monticello was sentenced on April 9 to 90 days’ jail, 86 days stayed on one-year probation, must serve four days, and fined $200 for fifth-degree assault – fear of bodily harm or death.

• Robert John Meredith, 31, of Monticello was sentenced on April 11 to 364 days jail, 304 days stayed on two-years’ probation, must serve 60 days, and fine $50 for fifth-degree criminal sex conduct – nonconsensual sexual contact.

DNR Conservation Officer’s Report:

• CO Trent Seamans (Big Lake) attended several outreach events throughout the week. Additional time was spent patrolling area lakes and addressing various issues in the Sand Dunes State Forest. Enforcement action for the week included fishing without a license, fishing while license privileges are revoked, taking an overlimit of catfish and allowing a juvenile to operate an off-highway motorcycle illegally.

• CO Clint Fitzgerald (Buffalo) patrolled Wright County lakes and the Crow River. Time was also spent responding to various wildlife-related complaints. Enforcement activity included fishing without a license and extra lines.
