This tunnel serves as a link between Second Avenue at the South Tenth Street Bridge and – via a section underneath Duquesne University and the Steel City neighborhood known as the Bluff – the portion of Forbes Avenue that is flanked by Boyd Street and Chatham Square.

Viral video shows Pittsburgh-area student playing AC/DC song on xylophone

Over Halloween weekend , a video showing a Pittsburgh -area high school mallet percussionist performing Australian rock band AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" alongside her marching band sparked viral attention across social media. The video shows Thomas Jefferson High School senior Layla Clark playing a keyboard percussion instrument during a performance that took place last season, according to the West Jefferson Hills School District. Clark, along with other percussionists, led the band in the opening 45 seconds of "Thunderstruck" before other instruments joined in to play the rest of the song. The video went viral on X, with an initial Oct. 30 post by user @RonnieAEvans amassing 5.3 million views by Nov. 3. Over the following days, the video continued to circulate online, with numerous other users sharing it across social media. Jim Gaffigan Plays PPG Paints Arena; Buffalo Rose Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary at Mr. Smalls (Sat., 11/7/26)

1) Jim Gaffigan, who had a short-lived stint portraying vice presidential candidate Tim Walz on “Saturday Night Live,” comes to PPG Paints Arena tonight. He has made his more wholesome approach to comedy work for more than 25 years. The pudgy, bearded comedian has found plenty of material in guilty-pleasure food (cake, bacon, and Hot Pockets get frequent mentions), and he’s got loads of stories from two large Catholic families, the one that begot him and the one he begot. (The dude has five kids!) When his five-year-old son wrote “Daddy is fat” as part of a writing assignment, Gaffigan was able to turn it into a book and long-form stand-up routine. Gaffigan is also a frequent contributor to “CBS Sunday Morning” and even had his own TV show, with his wife, for two seasons on TV Land Gaffigan has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Comedy Album eight times.
