Riding tall, riding well: Colton, Molalla equestrians shine in league final

The Molalla and Colton high equestrian teams (OHSET) wrapped up their 2024 Tri River District regular season April 18-21 at the Yamhill County Fairgrounds in McMinnville.

Both teams scored over 600 points to finish in the top 3 of the eight-team league that competes in three different categories – large, medium and small.

Taylor Thomas led Colton with four individual wins during the competition, while Molalla got individual wins from Megan Habeck and Eleana Humphrey.

All eyes now turn to the OHSET State Championships may 9-12 at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds in Redmond.
