MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — A 37-year-old Minot woman has been arrested in connection with a Monday night robbery in the northwest part of the city.

According to the Minot Police Department, officers were sent on Monday around 8:00 p.m. to a business in the 2000 block of North Broadway on a report of a robbery.

A person who was working at the gas station says the woman, Denise Howlingwolf, had grabbed a bottle of whiskey and walked out without paying for it.
As that worker followed Howlingwolf outside, the worker told police Howlingwolf pulled out a knife, and said if he didn’t leave her alone, she’d kill him.
    She then ran off.

Police then showed up at a nearby hotel where they believed Howlingwolf was staying and searched her room.

Inside, they say the found a knife and the liquor.
A police officer says as he was taking Howlingwolf to jail, she tried spitting on him and then licked his arm.

Howlingwolf is being charged with Robbery and Terrorizing, as well as contact by bodily fluids. She’s now in the Ward County Jail.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
