Fans Torn Over Anthony Edwards' Postgame Behavior Following Timberwolves' Loss

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to his likeness to NBA legends like Michael Jordan and the late Kobe Bryant. But some fans argue his confidence and charisma went too far after his team's 115-107 loss to the Denver Nuggets Sunday night.

Edwards dropped 44 points on Nikola Jokic Co. And while there's no disputing he was the best player on the court over the weekend, the Nuggets were the best team. The series is now tied 2-2. The road team has won each game as the series heads back to Denver.

After Game 4, Edwards was seen having words with Nuggets star Jamal Murray. The 22-year-old star was seen nodding his head and clapping in the heated postgame interaction.

Then during Edwards' postgame media session, he scoffed at Aaron Gordon's 27-point performance.

Edwards takes the Michael Jordan approach. In other words, he's going to talk trash whether he's down 0-3 or up 3-0. However, fans are taking issue with how he's approaching this specific situation.

In fact, fans are going as far as to call his antics "corny."

While some say Anthony Edwards crossed the line, others argue his confidence is the reason he's as great as he is at such a young age.

Aaron Gordon and the Nuggets will undoubtedly use this to their advantage. Stay tuned.

    Game 5 is Tuesday night.
