Anthony Edwards has officially arrived. The Timberwolves star not only led Minnesota to a Game 1 win over the Nuggets on Saturday night; he made NBA postseason history in the process.

Edwards scored 43 points, grabbed seven boards and dished out three assists in the Timberwolves' 106-99 win. The NBA's rising star now has consecutive games with at least 40 points.

Edwards and the late Kobe Bryant are the only two players with consecutive 40-point games at 22 years old or younger in the NBA's postseason history.

Edwards is officially in the record books alongside Kobe Bryant. Think about that for a second.

"Anthony Edwards has joined Kobe Bryant (2001) as the only players with consecutive 40-point games at age 22 or younger in NBA postseason history," Malika Andrews reports .

Anthony Edwards' clutch shot in the fourth quarter drew comparisons to both Kobe and Michael Jordan.

    Game 2 is Monday night.
