Minnesota Soccer Group announced the second iteration of the Minnesota Super Cup will begin in May and run through the end of July.

Established in 2023 to unforgettable success, the Minnesota Super Cup features six clubs from across the state in a World Cup-style tournament that brings together the best of the pre-professional soccer landscape. This year’s tournament will feature teams from Duluth, Minneapolis, Rochester, St. Paul, St. Croix and Stillwater, and the fixtures will take place across the state to encourage and engage as many communities and supporters as possible from each club.

Clubs involved in this year’s tournament are: Minneapolis SC, Rochester FC, MNUFC U19, Duluth FC, St. Croix Legends, and Force FC. Each club is invited to participate in the tournament based on their previous season’s league and cup record, ensuring that only the best of the best take part in the tournament. Key to the vision behind the Super Cup is cultivating community through soccer and expanding access to high-level competition for players in the pre-professional space from across top national leagues, including MLS Next, USL League Two, NPSL, and the UPSL.

Offering amateur players access to high-level tournament play, exposure to scouts beyond their usual playing arenas, the Super Cup represents a truly unique soccer experience for every entity involved, from player to staff and from club to fans.
