Grand Jury Indicts Two Men for Local Man's Murder
SOMERVILLE, NJ - A Somerset County Grand Jury has indicted Daniel Matthews, 44, of Brooklyn, and Andrew Mumby, 47, of New Brunswick for the December 29, 2023, murder of Franklin resident Artis Young, 46, according to Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald. Matthews and Mumby were indicted on charges of 1st degree murder, 1st degree felony murder, 2nd degree conspiracy to disturb human remains, 2nd degree disturbing human remains and two counts of 3rd degree hindering apprehension. Deadly crashes are up 27% in New Jersey so far this year
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. - Fatal crashes are on the rise in New Jersey. So far in 2024, deadly crashes are up 27% statewide. The most traffic deaths are happening in Central Jersey, including Middlesex County. South Brunswick has had five deadly crashes this year, with a total of eight fatalities. SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Authorities have identified the two people who were killed in two separate motor vehicle accidents on Tuesday morning in South Brunswick Township. The first fatal accident occurred on Route 535 and a second one followed shortly after on Route 1. Police have identified the first victim as Curtis Bryant, age 65, from South River.
