Fairfield County Feb 21 Weekly Crime Report: 212 Incidents and 29 Crime Stories. During the last week, Fairfield County reported a total of 212 crime cases, with the most common type being 'Other' which accounted for 127 cases. These 'Other' cases primarily consisted of motor vehicle violations and parking infractions. The second most common type of crime was 'Theft', with 31 reported instances. This was followed by 'Disturbance' and 'Suspicious Situation' crimes, with 15 and 11 cases respectively. Arrests and Vandalism both had 10 cases each. More serious crimes such as 'Assault' and 'Shooting' were less frequent, with 7 and 1 case respectively. The data indicates a need for increased traffic enforcement and theft prevention measures in the place. Despite the high number of total crimes, it should be noted that the majority were non-violent offenses and the number of serious crimes such as shootings was relatively low.
