    PHOTOS: Large thunderstorm rolls through Midland/Odessa, causing damage and flooding

    ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) – A thunderstorm that wreaked through Odessa and Midland on Thursday brought rain, hail, and high winds across the area.

    Those high winds typically bring substantial damage to nature and the surrounding infrastructure. Here’s a look at a large tree and light pole that was seen knocked over in the aftermath of Thursday’s storm.

    Meanwhile, over by the MCM Fundome, an electrical pole was seen leaning precariously over the Highway 80 Frontage Road.

    The storm also brought flooding across the area, with this picture taken at the intersection of Yukon and Dawn.

    This image was taken near the flooded intersection of 87 th Street and Andrews Highway, with some nearby individuals reporting flooded cars just east of the intersection.
