Wilmington shooting leaves woman in critical condition
A 29-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was shot in Wilmington early Sunday. Officers found the woman in the 600 block of North West Street at about 12:30 a.m., city police said. She was taken to a hospital, and police say there's no other information available right now.
Wounded Man Charged In Yesterday’s Middletown Shooting
Middletown Police have provided further details following an incident reported yesterday by First State Update. Officials said on May 21, 2024, at approximately 7:00 PM, Middletown Police responded to a shots fired complaint in the 400 block of N. Catherine Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered several shell casings and vehicles that had been struck by gunfire. While on the scene, officers were informed that Lawrence Ray, a 29-year-old resident of Elkton, Maryland, had been dropped off at Middletown Emergency Hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds police said Wednesday.
