Eagle Valley High School student dies after stabbing incident
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - An Eagle Valley High School Student died Wednesday after an incident in Gypsum Park. The Eagle County Sheriffs Office confirmed that the High School Student died after being stabbed multiple times at the park. Deputies responded to the disturbance at 2nd Street Park around 10 p.m. Wednesday. Upon arrival, the teen was found with serious injuries and was transported to the hospital where they died due to the extent of their injuries. After an investigation a suspect was taken into custody.

To meet this need, they desired flexible spaces that could rise up to a variety of occasions. “They wanted to put down roots and create a legacy property, one where they could gather and have fun with family and friends, but as guests leave, the house wouldn’t then feel overwhelmingly huge,” explains Denise Taylor, who tackled the interiors with co-designer Geneva Podolak Knox. Having observed many homes packed with extra bedrooms that often gather dust outside of holidays, the pair were up for the assignment. “All of the rooms multifunction here—the offices convert to guest rooms; a gaming table expands into a kid-friendly dining table—and every bit of square footage is designed to be enjoyed daily,” Taylor notes.
Highway 24 reopens following vehicle fire
U.S. Highway 24 was briefly closed in both directions south of Minturn for a vehicle fire according to an Eagle County Alert that came in just before noon on Monday, April 29. The road was reopened around 12:15 p.m., according to another alert, but drivers were warned that there is still construction in the area.
Eagle County Board of Commissioners names Beth Oliver the new county attorney

Oliver was working as the interim county attorney and has 29 years of combined private practice and local government experience.
