New York state has agreed to pay $5.5 million to the man who spent 16 years in prison after he was wrongfully convicted of raping writer Alice Sebold when she was a student at Syracuse University. Syracuse Bakers Expo highlights local desserts and their creators
Cakes, cookies, cupcakes and more will be available for sampling Thursday at the first-ever Syracuse Bakers Expo in downtown Syracuse. The expo, to be held 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Marriott Syracuse Downton hotel, is meant to showcase the efforts of 22 Onondaga County baked goods and desserts businesses.
